Privacy What we collect, and what we don’t.
REMVAL GmbH processes personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What this site collects
Forms
When you send a message, request a test or ask for a model to be added, we receive what you typed: name, company, email, optionally phone and robot model, and your message. We use it to answer you and to plan which platforms to support next. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request, and our legitimate interest in running the service.
No advertising trackers
There are no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics scripts and no social media pixels on this site. Fonts are self-hosted through the framework, so loading a page does not call out to a font CDN.
Server logs
Our host (Vercel) keeps standard technical logs — IP address, time, page requested, user agent — for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to build profiles.
Inspection data
When we inspect a robot we read controller data: operating hours, error and alarm history, serial numbers, firmware versions and, where available, joint currents and temperatures. This is equipment data, not personal data. Where a log incidentally contains an operator name or user account, we treat it as personal data and remove it from published or shared material.
Who we share with
The report goes to whoever ordered it. We do not sell data, and we do not pass your details to dealers, brokers or manufacturers. Our processors are limited to hosting (Vercel) and transactional email (Resend), both used only to run the site and deliver reports.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an inspection: deleted after 24 months.
- Inspection records and issued certificates: retained for the life of the certificate register, because verification depends on them.
- Accounting records: 10 years, as Swiss law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to melvin@sffstudio.com and we will answer within 24 working hours. You also have the right to complain to the Swiss FDPIC, or to your local supervisory authority in the EU.
