Nature of our reports

REMVAL reports are indicative condition assessments. Full methodology and limitations available on every report.

A REMVAL report describes the measured condition of a specific machine at a specific date, using the protocol published on our methodology page. It is not:

  • a prediction of future failures or remaining service life;
  • a certification of absolute positional accuracy — we measure repeatability, and we say so;
  • a valuation, an appraisal or a price recommendation;
  • a safety conformity assessment under the Machinery Directive or any equivalent regulation;
  • a warranty of any kind, express or implied, on the machine.

Every figure is published with its measurement uncertainty, and anything that could not be measured is listed as not measured. Where a controller generation does not expose live telemetry, the confidence level of the report is capped and the cap is printed on the report itself.

Limitation of liability

REMVAL is liable for the correct execution of the inspection protocol and for the accuracy of the measurements it reports, within the uncertainties stated. REMVAL is not liable for the commercial decisions taken on the basis of a report, nor for defects that were outside the scope of the level ordered.

Where a report is presented by a third party — for example a seller showing a buyer a report we issued — its authenticity can and should be checked through certificate verification. We accept no liability for altered, partial or fabricated documents bearing our name that do not resolve against that register.

TO CONFIRM BEFORE LAUNCHThe liability cap, governing law and jurisdiction clauses should mirror the signed pilot inspection agreement once it exists, and the whole section should be reviewed by Swiss counsel.

Intellectual property

The REMVAL name, logo, report layout and inspection protocol are the property of REMVAL GmbH. Robot manufacturer names and model designations are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to identify the equipment covered. REMVAL is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any robot manufacturer.
